Pay attention marketers
I was at a family reunion last weekend and my brother-in-law has an iPhone. The kids were all over it. John didn’t even have to show them how to use it. They were surfing and playing YouTube videos. Each of them would grab it and show the other something. It was quite amazing. Nobody asked to use my mobile PC Samsung Blackjack.
There were some high school girls there as well and I was doing some market research on social networks and text-messaging and such. They were both on Facebook and MySpace and their mom just recently took text-messaging away from them because they were going over their minutes. They said everyone in high school has a Facebook and MySpace account and they all text-message.
